FOUR! Plus a Meme

In the interest on integrating every conceivable aspect of my life with the fine folk at Google, I'm typing my entry from work today into Google Documents, as opposed to gmail (wait, that's Google, too), because when I copy from gmail and paste it into a blogger entry, it loos weird. Now that's TMI, and not even interesting TMI, like about poop or something. (And now that I'm home and posting, I see I'm still having font issues. I don't know why.)

So school was school, and now it is finally the weekend, thank god. This new library software thing is killing us all. Enough of that.

No real plans for the weekend, except dinner at the vegan Chinese place on Sunday for Father's Day. Otherwise, I got nothing. I did sleep some last night, and had a bit of the caff in my second cup of decaf this morning, so I'm still relatively alert. Oh, and K and I went to Borders before and checked on our Harry reservation and what the deal is with that, and now I'm all looking forward to getting the book and staying up all night to read. We'll see how it goes.

I saw this meme in several places, and I don't think I got tagged, but I'm doing it anyway because I'm like that.

What were you doing 10 years ago?

Ten years ago, it was 1997, so ... R had just finished her second year of high school. Ten years ago this week, she was finishing up her driver's ed. behind the wheel class, and I had eyelid surgery, I think the one when the doctor put the little gold weight in my eye to help it close. I remember these together, because at the end of the week, I had her drive me to the doctor's office for a follow-up visit, and she was so freaked out by driving the van that she couldn't drive home, so I did, with one eye patched.

What were you doing 1 year ago?

  3. Next time I'll tag you! ;o) I should have listed BE as one of my favorite toys too. I REALLY want the Today's Special Value on QVC for today but can't really justify it. I think I might have to live without it. But darnit, I want that eye buki brush! LOL

  5. I did end up getting the TSV, almost as soon as I finished leaving this comment! My only beef with it is I wish I could get it with two Fairly Lights. It's the perfect color for me; Light is a hair too dark and Fair is just too sheer to cover any of my zits when I get them. I did end up going for the Fairly Light/Light because I've had Fair and it doesn't work at all. I know you're supposed to mix them, but oh well. I was almost out of foundation anyhow. ;o)
