A Bit of an Update

Thanks for your emails and good wishes. Reminds me that I still have some peeps out in the cyber world. Now. If you are big bosomed, and ever thinking of reduction surgery, do it. I've had no pain at all, minimal discomfort, and overall, a very easy time. They tell me this is normal. But what is normal? I know have C cup boobs now, they assure me. So now I can see how huge I really was before. (DDD) yes, I can stand up straight and pull back my shoulders, no trouble. I can lean over the sink to brush my teeth and not have to hold my boobs up and out of the way. Looks like I'm in for an adjustment, but an easy and amusing one. Starting today, I guess I'll see how big my clothes really are. And my next mammogram should show a clear picture of everything. It's all good.

Hello?

It's official: I haven't posted here in a million years, so if anybody's reading this, Wow, you are beyond loyal. Thanks very much.

So, in brief, I'm having a bit of surgery tomorrow that I'd rather not advertise on FB to former students, college friends, distant relatives, and the like, but I thought I'd let anybody still scanning here know about. I'm having breast reduction surgery. I'm not nervous, but getting a little antsy now that all my pre-syrgery tasks are done. I probably won't post here tomorrow, but if you see a hello or some such on FB, you'll know it's over and I'm fine, which I thoroughly expect to be. If you should choose to comment there -- you're very nice people, after all -- let's keep it our little secret. If you have my email, or want it, that's okay, too.

Defintely a lot of weirdness surrounding this on many levels, but all of it good.

xoxo
